Leash Law Enforcement
 
 Prescott Park near the West Oakland Post Office is the latest site for leash law enforcement. Please be careful, polite and remember to let us know if you find good sites for more official, legal dog parks.
Speak Out for Animals in Oakland
                                         
The Oakland Animal Welfare Group and City Council Member Ignacio  de la Fuente will host a meetingvxvc at City Hall to exchange information on  animal welfare issues.  The meeting will feature new Director of Animal Services, Adam  Parascandola, making a presentation about the status of the shelter, his vision for the future, resources needed, etc.  Then he will answer questions from members of the audience. 
 
Monday November 12 from 7-8:30pm at Park Blvd. Presbyterian Church, 4102 Park Blvd at the corner of Hempel in Glenview. For information contact Kathy Mark
